Michigan Tech Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards
NEW ORLEANS – The Michigan Tech track & field teams, along with five of its student-athletes, were awarded USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, the USTFCCCA announced Thursday afternoon.
In order to qualify for team honors, the cumulative GPA of all student-athletes on indoor and outdoor teams must average above a 3.0. The men came in with a 3.55 GPA and were one of 110 programs honored while the women finished with a 3.6 GPA while being one of 136 programs honored.
In order to qualify for individual honors, a cumulative GPA of 3.25 was required. 469 men from 95 different institutions were honored along with 555 women from 91 different institutions.
