Joda Hired as Assistant Coach

Michigan Tech athletic director Suzanne Sanregret announced Friday (Aug. 3) that former Michigan Tech student-athlete Andrew Joda has been hired as the assistant coach for cross country, Nordic skiing and track and field.

Anderson Qualifies for National Championships

Michigan Tech's Dylan Anderson qualified for the NCAA Div. II Track and Field Championships after running a school-record time of 1:51.02 in the 800-meter run at the Dr. Keeler Twilight Meet Friday (May 11). His time currently ranks ninth in Div. II.

Saliga Wins GLIAC Decathlon

Nathan Saliga highlighted day two of the GLIAC Track and Field Championships for Michigan Tech by winning the decathlon with a school record 5,999 points Thursday (May 3). Teammate Patrick Spalding finished fourth with a personal-best 5,459 points, the third best performance in school history.

A pair of Michigan Tech student-athletes are in the top-four after day one of the decathlon at the GLIAC track and field championships Wednesday (May 2). Nate Saliga is in second place with 3,226 points, and teammate Patrick Spalding is in fourth place with 3,126.
