Eighteen students associated with Michigan Tech Athletics received degrees at last Saturday’s (Dec. 14) commencement cermony. The group includes four who earned master’s degrees and 14 who earned bachelor’s degrees.

Saliga Earns Commissioner's Award
Michigan Tech’s Nathan Saliga was recently honored with the GLIAC Commissioner’s Award for the Spring season.
Michigan Tech's Dylan Anderson qualified for the NCAA Div. II Track and Field Championships after running a school-record time of 1:51.02 in the 800-meter run at the Dr. Keeler Twilight Meet Friday (May 11). His time currently ranks ninth in Div. II.

The Michigan Tech track and field teams had six student-athletes earn All-GLIAC accolades on the final day of the GLIAC track and field championships Friday (May 4).

Saliga Wins GLIAC Decathlon
Nathan Saliga highlighted day two of the GLIAC Track and Field Championships for Michigan Tech by winning the decathlon with a school record 5,999 points Thursday (May 3). Teammate Patrick Spalding finished fourth with a personal-best 5,459 points, the third best performance in school history.
