Parking at the Trails

“When Armageddon takes place, parking is going to be a major problem.”
- J.G. Ballard

While hopefully short of Armageddon, you may have already found that parking at the trailhead is very limited. Here's a brief run-down of the parking situation and how you can help. Here is a map showing the very nearby parking lots and indicates walking routes that are either sidewalks or packed trails.

Parking at the trailhead is limited to coaches and race officials. On race days, coaches will display their coach bibs for access to the trailhead parking. Teams are limited to two vehicles at the trailhead; others should park in the lots across Sharon Avenue.

Vehicles can drop off athletes at the parking control spot, then make a loop and park across Sharon Avenue. Or, really, the walk is about 5 minutes.

Do not park on the trail access road - we need to keep the road clear for emergency vehicles.

We have a record number of athletes and coaches, plus a record number of trailers, so thanks for cooperating.
