Men's Cross Country Ranked No. 25 in Nation

HOUGHTON, Mich. - Michigan Tech men's cross country was ranked No. 25 in Wednesday's United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCAAA) Division II National Rankings Poll. The Huskies also clocked in at No. 6 in the Midwest Region. It is the third time the Huskies have been ranked Nationally this fall and their highest position on the list to date.

Fellow GLIAC teams Grand Valley State (No. 1) and Wayne State (No. 30) also cracked the National chart this week.

The Huskies raced at the GLIAC Championships Saturday on the campus of Saginaw Valley State. The men's team finished second and the women's squad placed fourth. Clayton Sayen was All-GLIAC First Team with a fourth-place finish. Samuel Lange (13th), Luke Moore (21st), and Nick Niemi (23rd) were All-GLIAC Second Team for the men.

Tech travels to Evansville, Indiana next for the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships, hosted by Southern Indiana at Angel Mounds Saturday, November 6. The NCAA Division II Championships are Saturday, November 20 in Saint Leo, Florida.
