Hockey unveils 2019-20 schedule

The Michigan Tech hockey program announced its 2019-20 schedule on Wednesday (May 8) in conjunction with the WCHA unveiling its composite schedule. The Huskies have 37 regular season games on the schedule that includes nine nonconference and 28 WCHA contests.

Former Michigan Tech hockey player Mitch Reinke was called up to the St. Louis Blues on Monday (April 22) for their Stanley Cup Playoff run. The Blues advanced to the second round with a 3-2 series win over Winnipeg Saturday (April 20) and will play the winner of the Dallas-Nashville series.

Dylan Steman is the lone former Michigan Tech hockey player in the American Hockey League (AHL) 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs. Steman and the Hershey Bears begin their series against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Friday at the same arena Tech played in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
