Fall Sport Student-Athletes Honored by GLIAC for Academics

A total of 95 Michigan Tech student-athletes earned recognition from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for academics as the league announced its Fall Academic Excellence Awards and All-Academic Teams.
Volleyball Added Two During Early Signing

Mariel Leibovitz and Courtney Kurkie each signed a National Letter of Intent during November’s early signing period, officially committing to continue their academic and athletic careers at Michigan Tech starting in the fall of 2015.

Michigan Tech defeated Lake Superior State 3-1 to close out its 2014 season today at the SDC Gym. The Huskies finish the year with an 11-16 overall record and 8-10 mark in GLIAC play.
Volleyball Earns 3-1 Win over Northwood

Michigan Tech snapped a five-match skid by defeating Northwood in GLIAC volleyball tonight at the SDC Gym. The Huskies dropped the first set but rallied to take the next three and earn its seventh GLIAC win of the campaign.

Huskies Fall to Wildcats in GLIAC Volleyball

Northern Michigan defeated Michigan Tech 3-0 in GLIAC volleyball tonight at the SDC Gym. The visiting Wildcats hit .322 for the match to improve to 11-12 overall and 11-3 in GLIAC play. The Huskies are now 9-14 overall and 6-8 in the league.
