HOUGHTON, Mich. — Michigan Tech's top two players, Kwang Suthijindawong and Sandra Cvetanovic, combined for all three Huskies points in a 6-3 loss to Ohio Dominincan in their home opener at Gates Tennis Center today.

The Tech pair earned an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles before each cruised to a singles win.

Suthijindawong did not surrender a game in a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at No. 1 singles. Cvetanovic earned her first collegiate singles win via a 6-2, 6-0 score at No. 2.

The Panthers won all four other singles flights in straight sets. The visitors also claimed Nos. 2 and 3 doubles to leave with the team victory.

"We played better today," said head coach Kevin Kalinec. "We're a work in progress as a team and need to continue to improve."

Michigan Tech (0-3 overall and 0-3 GLIAC) continues its three-match home stand with a noon first serve against Ashland tomorrow (Sept. 12).
