  • By virtue of its 74-60 win against Bentley in the third-place game of the NCAA Division II Championship Tournament Fabulous Four, Michigan Tech became the first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference school to record a win at the national tourney.
  • Following a 10-1 start, Michigan Tech proceeded to attain wins in 20 of its last 22 contests. The Huskies had two 10-game winning streaks and a nine-game win string during the course of the season.
  • Connie Pleshe saved her best season for last by pacing the Huskies in three-point field goal shooting with single-season school marks in three-pointers made (75) and attempted (176). She became MTU's career leader in three-point field goals with 114 treys on 414 attempts. A GLIAC Post-Season Tourney and NCAA Great Lakes Regional All-Tourney pick. Pleshe set individual season highs in 15 statistical categories.
  • Jenny Postlewaite was selected to the five-member NCAA Division II Championship Fabulous Four All-Tournament team. In the two-game tourney, the four-year starter totaled 36 points and hauled down 12 rebounds. She also dished out 11 assists to go with 11 steals in the two-game set.
