Women's Basketball Not Picked for NCAA Tourney
HOUGHTON, Mich. — Michigan Tech's 2015-16 women's basketball season has officially ended after the Huskies were not selected for an at-large berth into the NCAA Tournament.
Tech finished with a 19-8 overall record and claimed a share of the GLIAC North Division championship—the 14th league title in school history.
The Huskies' program has put together 28 straight winning seasons and made 18 appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
Four Tech seniors—Danielle Blake, Kerry Gardner, Kylie Moxley and Mackenzie Perttu—helped the team compile an 87-29 record over the last four seasons with three GLIAC North titles, one GLIAC Tournament championship and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
