STAT OF THE WEEK
26 • Consecutive GLIAC Tournament appearances for Michigan Tech, which is the only program to earn a spot in every tournament since its inception in 1990-91.

GLIAC CHAMPS FOR 14TH TIME!
The Michigan Tech women's basketball program claimed its 14th GLIAC regular season title (seventh in the last nine years) with a 17-5 record. The Huskies shared the GLIAC North Division crown with Saginaw Valley State. Tech won its first GLIAC title in 1991 and has won four titles under coach Kim Cameron (2011, 2013, 2015 and 2016).

TECH'S GLIAC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Michigan Tech will play in its 26th GLIAC Tournament and owns a 37-19 record in league tournament games entering the 2016 edition. At home, the Huskies have hosted 27 GLIAC Tournament games in its history and are 22-5 in those games. Tech is 6-1 vs. Grand Valley State in league tournament games and 4-0 vs. the Lakers in postseason games played at the SDC Gym. Overall, the Huskies have won 12 straight home GLIAC Tournament games, a streak that started in the 2010 league tournament.

HUSKIES SCORED 57 VS. GVSU BOTH TIMES
Michigan Tech and Grand Valley State split the two regular season games between the teams earlier this season. The home team won both games. The Lakers claimed a 68-57 victory on Jan. 16 after the Huskies were within four points in the final three minutes. Tech won Feb. 6 after Danielle Blake made a last-second layup for a 57-55 decision.

LOOKING FOR 20TH WIN
Michigan Tech seeks a 20-win season for the 19th time in program history. Only seven times in the last 25 years have the Huskies failed to reach the 20-win plateau.

BLAKE EARNED FINAL GLIAC WEEKLY AWARD
Danielle Blake earned the final GLIAC North Player of the Week Award after helping the Huskies claim an 80-38 victory over Northern Michigan—the largest margin of victory for Tech in the all-time series. The 6-0 forward posted 23 points, six assists, three rebounds, two blocks and two steals. She also helped hold her main defensive assignment to 1-for-12 from the field.

THE MIDWEST REGION PICTURE
Michigan Tech is ranked eighth in the most recent NCAA Midwest Region rankings (through games up to Feb. 20). The rankings are used to select the teams for the NCAA Tournament. Eight teams from the Midwest Region will earn spots in the dance, with three automatic bids (champions of the GLIAC, GLVC and G-MAC conferences) and five at large teams. The region rankings are: 1. Ashland; 2. Lewis; 3. Drury; 4. Bellarmine; 5. Quincy; 6. Ohio Dominican; 7. Saginaw Valley; 8. Michigan Tech; 9. Grand Valley State; 10. St. Joseph's.

HOME SWEET HOME
Michigan Tech has put together an 84-7 record (92.3 winning percentage) at home during Kim Cameron's tenure as the Huskies' coach (dating back to 2010-11). The Black and Gold were 17-1 at the SDC Gym last year and are 12-0 thus far in 2015-16.

MOXLEY SITS AT 978 CAREER POINTS
Kylie Moxley has put up 359 points this season to run her career total to 978—22 shy of becoming the 23rd player in school history to reach the 1,000-point plateau. Danielle Blake was the most recent 1,000-club member this season.

SERIES VS. GRAND VALLEY
Michigan Tech and Grand Valley State will meet for the third time this season. The home team won both matchups in the regular season. The Huskies have won 12 straight at the SDC Gym vs. the Lakers; GVSU's last win in Houghton was Feb. 14, 2007. The all-time series dates back to 1978, and Tech holds a 48-32 advantage.

THIS AND THAT
Tech is 12-0 at home, 6-7 in road games and 1-0 in neutral site contests this season … Nine different Tech players have season highs in double digits, six have 20-point games and two have 30-point games … Michigan Tech has held 21 of its 26 opponents under 70 points this season and is 19-2 in those contests. The Huskies are 0-5 when allowing 70 or more.

She is the first Division II head coach in Tech history to lead a team to a national title game appearance (2011) and was the GLIAC Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2015 and Midwest Region Coach of the Year in 2011. Cameron-coached teams have claimed three GLIAC North Division titles and advanced to the NCAA Tournament three times—twice as the top seed of the Midwest Regional.

NEXT UP
The winner of Tuesday's (Mar. 1) GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinal will advance to the Semifinal to be played at the site of the semifinalist with the best league record. Ashland (21-1) holds that distinction entering the tournament.
