Bio

Sarah Stream had the unofficial title of assistant coach when she was playing point guard for the Huskies during two NCAA Elite Eight runs in 2009 and 2010. In her first year as an official assistant coach for Michigan Tech, the team experienced its best season in school history-advancing to the NCAA National Championship game.

Stream, who spent six seasons as a student-athlete at Tech before beginning her duties as assistant coach in July 2010, is responsible for working with the guards and coordinating recruiting and travel.

A CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2009-10, Stream scored 1,464 points and reset the school record for assists with 459 as a Michigan Tech women's basketball player. The four-time All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection started every one of her 126 games played and won 99 of those (78.7 percent). She served as team captain for three seasons and finished as the third-best career 3-point shooter (39.9 percent) in school history.

Stream, a 4.0 student, was the inaugural NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Elite 88 Award winner in 2010.

The Ishpeming, Mich., native gained a bachelor's degree in exercise science and is working on a master's degree in biological sciences.
