2021-22: USCSA All-Academic Ski Team… Earned All-Region honors in the 15k mass start skate… Earned All-Region honors in the 5k classic… Placed fifth in the 5k classic at the NCAA Regional… Placed seventh in the 15k mass start skate at the NCAA Regional… Placed eighth in the individual skate 5k classic at the CCSA Championships… Placed 11th in the 10k individual start freestyle at the CCSA Mt. Major: Engineering Management

Before Tech: Marie Sølverud Wangen is a transfer student-athlete coming to us from the Lillehammer University College in Norway. Marie has achieved high top national and international results as a junior athlete in Norway. Marie's highlight skiing results include a silver medal in the classic sprint and a gold medal in the team relay at the 2019 U18 Nordic Championship in Otepää, Estonia. She was also a finalist in the skate sprint at the 2019 Norwegian National Junior Championships and semi-finalist in 2020. Marie also possesses several top 10 finishes in the Norwegian National Junior Cup.
