Oliveros and Yumuang Honored by GLIAC

MIDLAND, Mich. — Michigan Tech had two men's tennis players earn All-GLIAC status as the league announced its postseason awards following the GLIAC Tournament yesterday. Javier Oliveros (San Luis Potosi, Mexico) earned All-GLIAC Second Team while Built Yumuang (Bangkok, Thailand) was named All-GLIAC Honorable Mention.

Oliveros played No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles for the Huskies in 2015. He posted a 2-12 overall singles mark and a 4-6 record in doubles with partner Robin Duhnsen. The senior finished his three-year career at Tech with 21 victories.

Yumuang earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mention for the second straight year after posted a 9-10 overall mark in singles, with five wins coming at No. 3. He also competed at No. 1 doubles with partner Nick Kremkow, compiling a 2-9 mark.

Michigan Tech finished the 2015 season with a 2-13 overall record.
