Tristan Ashbrook signs in ECHL with Savannah Ghost Pirates

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Michigan Tech senior forward Tristan Ashbrook signed a professional contract with the Savannah Ghost Pirates in the ECHL. The Ghost Pirates are affiliated with the NHL's Las Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights.

Ashbrook skated in 94 games for the Huskies over the past three seasons after transferring to Tech from RPI. For his collegiate career, Ashbrook tallied 58 points with 37 goals and 21 assists in 128 games. He had 28 goals and 17 assists in a Michigan Tech uniform and registered a career-high 17 points in 2022-23 with 10 goals and seven assists. Ashbrook scored game-winning goals in the Desert Hockey Classic title games against Boston University (Jan. 7) and in the Winter Carnival Saturday night win over Bowling Green (Feb. 11).

Ashbrook is an Upper Peninsula native from Manistique, Michigan. He was a CCHA All-Academic Team member and an ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team member with the Engineers.

Savannah is in its inaugural season and competes in the ECHL South Division. The Ghost Pirates play their games at Enmarket Arena.
