Tech No. 15 in National Hockey Polls
HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech hockey team is ranked No. 15 in the most recent national polls, which were announced today by USCHO.com and USA Hockey.
The Huskies remained the highest-ranked team in the WCHA and have been ranked or received votes in every USCHO poll dating back to Sept. 29, 2014.
Michigan Tech closed the year with a 23-9-5 overall record for its second straight 20-win season – the first time the program has accomplished back-to-back 20-win campaigns since 1981-82 and 1982-83 – and brought the MacNaughton Cup back to the Copper Country for the first time since 1976. Tech's nine losses were the fewest by any Huskies squad in 40 years and the sixth-lowest total dating back to 1945-46.
