Sophomore Season (2012-13): Earned the Merv Youngs Award as the team's MVP … Was a key to both Tech's power play and penalty kill … Amassed 24 points (14g, 10a) in 35 games with the Huskies … Won a gold medal with Team USA at the IIHF World Junior Championship in Ufa, Russia, becoming the first Husky to ever medal at the event … Scored four goals in the first three games of the season including a pair vs. No. 1 Minnesota in a 5-3 upset (Oct. 19) … Had the overtime game winner at Bemidji State in a 2-1 decision (Nov. 17) … Turned in a season-best four-point night with one goal and three assists vs. Northern Michigan in an 8-2 win (Feb. 12).
