Bio

Eric Hubbard is entering his first season as Linebackers Coach at Michigan Tech.

Hubbard comes to the Huskies from St. Norbert College, where he coached linebackers from 2019 to 2021. In 2019, the Green Knights reached the championship game with fellow MTU graduate Drew Vanderlin as defensive coordinator. 

While at SNC, Hubbard coached five all-conference linebackers including three in 2021. 

Prior to St. Norbert, Hubbard coached linebackers at McKendree University. He also spent 2017 and 2018 at Northern Illinois University assisting with the linebacker position. There, he coached the Huskies in their appearance in the Quick Lane Bowl and earned his master's degree in Sports Management.

Hubbard worked for three years at Middleton High School as freshman football coach and two years as defensive coordinator.

Hubbard holds a Bachelor of Science in History from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point (2012).
