What happened last week?

Rocket League

Tech Rocket League fell to third seed Robert Morris. RMU started strong with a 3-0 lead, set scores of 3-4, 5-2, and 2-1 put the Huskies on the backfoot. Fighting back with set scores of 4-2, 6-3, and 7-1 Tech looked poised to clinch the reverse sweep. It was not to be as RMU closed the last game of the series 3-1 and ended the Huskies' playoff run.

Call of Duty: MW3

Tech upset third-seed Glenville State in a 3-1 victory last Wednesday! MTU launched out of the gate with a dominant 250-78 win on Karachi hardpoint. Glenville fired back with a 6-3 win on Terminal search and destroy. This did not deter the Huskies from grinding out two brawls: a 3-2 win on Invasion control and a 250-230 win on Skidrow hardpoint closed out the series.

This week Tech moves on to face the second seed, Baldwin Wallace. The last time the two teams faced, BWU took the series 3-0. So, the Huskies have another uphill battle on Wednesday. Make sure to tune in at Twitch.tv/mtuesports at 7 p.m.

Counter-Strike 2

Tech fell to Syracuse on Friday. After a heartbreaking defeat (15-19) in double overtime on Mirage, Syracuse ran away with its map pick on Anubis 13-5 to close out the series 2-0.

Super Smash Bros: Ultimate

Tech faces fifth-seed Grand Valley State on Thursday. The last time these two teams faced, the Huskies secured a comfortable 2-0 victory. The Lakers are hot off an upset 2-0 victory over Northwestern Michigan College, however, an easy win is not guaranteed.
