What happened last week?

Apex: Legends

Husky Apex placed third last Saturday in the third week of Octane Collegiate group stages. Tech was unable to repeat the first-place finish from week one but did far better than last week's 13th-place finish.

This Saturday, Tech returns to the fourth week of group stages.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

The Huskies are NACE Varsity Conference Champions! With a clean 2-0 win over RIT White on Sunday, Tech secured a top seed for the national playoff.

Rocket League

The B team faces RIT in the round of four on April 10 in its conference championship tournament. The JV squad fell the last time the two teams met, so Huskies have their work cut out for them.

The varsity squad took down Rochester University 4-0 on Saturday punching the Huskies' ticket to another national playoff. The round of 16 starts next week!

Tech was less fortunate in the Collegiate Rocket League World Championship LCQ. First taking down California Polytechnic 4-0 on Friday, but falling 4-0 to Seton Hall University Friday.

Saturday, Tech heads downstate to the Great Lakes Collegiate Rocket League LAN Championship at Cleary University. Cheer on the Huskies as they battle for the title of best in the Great Lakes region.

League of Legends

The Huskies defeated the Missouri - Kansas City 2-0 Tuesday and fell to the Titans of Maryville 0-2 Thursday. This brings their record to 4-1 in NACE Varsity Premier.

Next week, Tech faces Cleary Tuesday and Cornell Thursday.

Tech qualified for the Teemo Cup and took its season-opener win over Wake Forest 2-0 on Saturday.

Over the weekend, the Huskies swept the competition in the Wayne State Winter Games. With wins over Grand Valley State, Kettering, Detroit Mercy, Wayne State, and Ferris State.

Overwatch 2

Thursday, the Overwatch 2 team took fourth in the Pilot Invitational hosted by Bethel University.

Friday, in group stages Tech took wins over Albion and Purdue but lost to Western Michigan. This secured a fourth-place seed into the second phase. Saturday, the Huskies took a win over Albion but fell to GVSU and Bethel for a fourth-place finish.

Monday, the Huskies fell to St. Thomas 2-0 ending their run in the CECC LCQ.

Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate

The Smash team awaits its opponent in the national playoff. The first round is next week!

Valorant

On Sunday, the Huskies had an even 3-3 record in the Wayne State Winter Games. Falling to Ferris State and both Michigan State rosters. But, taking wins over GVSU and both Wayne State teams.

This should conclude this season of Huskies Valorant!
