Apex: Legends

Husky Apex fell short of the Phase One Spring Series finals with an eighth-place finish on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Tech secured 20 championship points, eight short of fifth place. Fifth place in the group of 16 qualified for finals. A third-place finish in game two provided hope, but the team was unable to replicate another podium finish in the next two games.

Apex is now on the hunt for their next tournament.

Rocket League

Monday, the Huskies ran away with the win 3-0 over West Virginia Technology. Isaac Stilwell "stewy" scoring four goals in game one and set the momentum, and the Golden Bears were unable to claw their way into the match.

Monday, Rocket League continues in NACE Starleague Varsity Premier and returns to NSL Varsity Plus. Tonight the Huskies face Wayland Baptist at 7 p.m. The B team sees Southeastern for its season opener on stream at https://twitch.tv/mtuesports. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

League of Legends

The Huskies fell to Manitoba 2-1 on Saturday. This puts Tech at a 0-2 record in the Collegiate League of Legends tournament.

Hayden Long "BIG DADDY BARD" as Aatrox and Kevin Doerr "67" as Urgot both secured 12 kills apiece in game one. Despite a strong start, Tech was unable to close out the series against Manitoba.

This week, League of Legends faces Maryville on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Overwatch 2

Tech Overwatch lost its season opener to Western Kentucky last Tuesday 3-0.

This week, the Huskies look to find their footing against the Jimmies. The match starts at 7 p.m. and you can find the stream at https://twitch.tv/mtuesports. 

Valorant

Valorant started their NACE season with a win over UW-Stout 2-1. 

Tech seeks to keep the momentum rolling Wednesday against Quinnipiac at 9:30 p.m.
