HOCKEY
Michigan Tech took 4-of-6 CCHA points against Bemidji State over the weekend. The Huskies won 2-1 Friday and tied 2-2 Saturday. The Beavers took the extra point in the shootout. Matthew Campbell scored both nights while Isaac Gordon and Tyrone Bronte also found the back of the net. Tech is now 10-10-5 overall and 7-6-1 in the CCHA and hits the road this weekend to Lake Superior State for their only meeting of the season with the Lakers. The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. Friday and 6:07 p.m. Saturday in the Soo.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech split its weekend on the road. The Huskies fell 80-41 at Parkside on Thursday and bounced back with a 63-51 win at Purdue Northwest on Saturday. Isabella Lenz averaged 15 points on the weekend to lead the Huskies. Tech is 8-8 overall and 4-4 in the GLIAC and travels to Northern Michigan on Saturday for a 1 p.m. tipoff.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies also split their weekend on the road with a 78-71 win at Parkside Thursday and a 79-70 loss at Purdue Northwest. Dan Gherezgher (20), Marcus Tomashek (19), and Dawson Nordgaard (10) averaged double figures on the weekend. Tech is 6-11 overall and 3-5 in the GLIAC and plays at 3 p.m. Saturday at Northern Michigan.

NORDIC SKIING
The Huskies finished second at the Salomon CXC Cup in Coleraine, Minnesota over the weekend. Anabel Needham won the 7.5K freestyle on Saturday and placed second in the 15K classic on Sunday. Colin Freed also took home the individual title in the freestyle on the men's side. Olivia Laven was third in the freestyle and Synne Herheim placed fourth in the classic. Wes Campbell was fourth in the freestyle and fifth in the classic. The Huskies race at the Ariens CCSA Invite next weekend in Brillion, Wisconsin.
