HOCKEY
No. 14 Michigan Tech earned 4-of-6 points at Ferris State. The Huskies won 1-0 Friday as Blake Pietila extended his nation-leading shutout mark to six and his school record career shutout mark to 16 while winning his 50th career game. Kyle Kukkonen scored the goal. Logan Pietila had a pair of goals in a 3-3 tie Saturday. Jake Crespi also scored as the Bulldogs earned the extra CCHA point in the shootout. The Huskies (16-7-4, 9-5-4 CCHA) return home to host Northern Michigan Friday at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. The teams will wrap up the weekend and season series in Marquette Saturday. There will be 1,000 7th man T-shirts handed out at Friday's game sponsored by Holiday Inn Express.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies extended their winning streak to six games with a weekend sweep at the SDC. Tech defeated Davenport 76-58 Thursday and Isabella Lenz hit a jumper at the buzzer for a 57-56 victory over No. 4 Grand Valley State Saturday. Lenz (17.5), Alex Rondorf (15.5), and Ellie Mackay (10) averaged double figures. Tech (16-3, 8-1 GLIAC) heads to Ferris State Thursday and Lake Superior State Saturday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies dropped a pair of GLIAC games at home. Davenport won 90-77 Thursday and Grand Valley State won 74-61 Saturday. Dan Gherezgher (16), Marcus Tomashek (12.5), Nate Abel (11.5), and Adam Hobson (10.5) averaged double figures on the weekend. Tech travels to Ferris State Thursday and Lake Superior State Saturday.
