HOCKEY
No. 20 Michigan Tech earned 4-of-6 CCHA points against No. 10 Minnesota State over the weekend at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. Tech won 3-2 Friday and the teams tied 2-2 Saturday with the Mavericks winning the shootout. Logan Ganie, Kyle Kukkonen, Kash Rasmussen, David Jankowski, and Tristan Ashbrook scored, and Blake Pietila made 76 saves in the series. The Huskies are 9-3-3 overall and 5-2-3 in the CCHA and play a home-and-away series with Northern Michigan this weekend. The Wildcats will host Friday at 7:07 p.m. at the Berry Events Center with the series wrapping up Saturday at 6:07 p.m. at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. General admission tickets for Saturday's game are now on sale at the SDC Central Ticket Office.

CROSS COUNTRY
After a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship, the Michigan Tech men's cross country team earned a bid as one of 10 at-large teams to the NCAA Championship. The Huskies join thirty-three teams selected to participate in Seattle, Washington. With the at-large qualifier, the Huskies have etched their third-straight trip to the NCAA Championship. The men will race at Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington on Friday at 1 p.m. Eastern.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech won a pair of games at the SDC Gym to improve to 6-1. The Huskies defeated St. Cloud State 82-49 Friday and Minnesota Duluth 61-46 Saturday. Isabella Lenz (13.5), Ellie Mackay (13.5), and Alex Rondorf (12) averaged double figures on the weekend. Tech opens GLIAC play this weekend at Parkside Thursday and Purdue Northwest Saturday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies were unable to find a victory over their four-game road trip last week. The Huskies fell to Maryville Tuesday, Missouri-St. Louis Wednesday, Minnesota Duluth Saturday, and St. Cloud State Sunday. Marcus Tomashek paced the offense, averaging 13.8 points. The Huskies are 2-5 overall and begin GLIAC play at Parkside Thursday and Purdue Northwest Saturday.
