HOCKEY
The No. 14-ranked Huskies went 2-1 last week with an 8-1 win at Northern Michigan Tuesday, a 4-0 shutout of Bowling Green Friday, and a 4-2 loss to the Falcons Saturday. The Huskies won the MacInnes Trophy after outscoring the Falcons 6-4 on the weekend, and Brian Halonen was named Winter Carnival MVP. The Huskies are now 18-9-2 overall and 15-6-1 in the CCHA and have their final two road games of the regular season this weekend at Ferris State.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies extended their winning streak to seven games after an 84-72 win at Davenport Thursday and a 75-67 victory at Grand Valley State Saturday. Adam Hobson (23), Trent Bell (18), Owen White (16), and Eric Carl (11.5) all averaged double figures. Tech is 16-5 overall and 13-3 in the GLIAC and hosts Saginaw Valley State Thursday and Wayne State Saturday in the final home weekend of the regular season.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech split its road weekend with a 71-51 win at Davenport Thursday and a 61-45 loss at No. 5 Grand Valley State Saturday. Ellie Mackay led the Huskies in scoring, averaging 16.5 points per game on the weekend. The Huskies are 12-9 overall and 7-6 in the GLIAC and host SVSU Thursday and WSU Saturday at the SDC Gym.

NORDIC SKIING
The Nordic ski teams combined for the CCSA conference title as the women placed first and the men second only one point behind Northern Michigan. Nea Katajala was crowned the CCSA Classic Champion Sunday. The Huskies head back to Duluth, where they started the season, for the NCAA Central Region Championships next weekend. They will compete in the classic 5/10K Saturday and the skate 15/20K Sunday.
