HOCKEY
The No. 17-ranked Huskies host Bemidji State for a CCHA series at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. The Huskies and Beavers will meet at 7:07 p.m. Friday and 6:07 p.m. Saturday. Friday is Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night and Saturday is Junior Hockey Night. Last weekend's series against Northern Michigan was postponed. The make up dates will be announced early this week.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech fell 74-70 in overtime to No. 12 Grand Valley State Thursday and bounced back with an 86-75 victory over Davenport Saturday at the SDC. Gym. Ellie Mackay (23), Alex Rondorf (14), and Sara Dax (10.5) averaged double figures in the two games. The Huskies are 11-5 overall and 6-2 in the GLIAC and host Northwood Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies split their weekend at the SDC Gym with an 80-74 loss to Grand Valley State and a 73-61 win over Davenport Saturday. Owen White (18.5), Eric Carl (16.5), and Jalen Carter (11) averaged double figures scoring while Trent Bell (13.5 points, 11.5 rebounds) averaged a double-double. Tech (11-5, 7-3 GLIAC) hosts Northwood Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

NORDIC SKIING
The Nordic ski teams kicked off their CCSA portion of the schedule at the Mt. Itasca CXC Cup. The women earned a team win on the weekend while the men place second. Anabel Needham and Henriette Semb each earned an individual win. The duo finished first and second on both days with Needham winning Saturday's 10K skate interval start and Semb taking the crown in the 7.5K classic mass start on Sunday. Tech hosts its only home weekend of the season on January 29-30 for the CCSA MTU Invite & GLD CXC Cup. Saturday will be a skate 10/15K followed by a classic 5/10K on Sunday at the Tech Trails with racing starting at 9 a.m. both days.
