GLIAC Cancels All Activities Through May 31
HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced Friday that it is canceling all athletically related activity for all sports through May 31, 2020 due to concerns over the COVID-19 health situation.
Below is the statement from the GLIAC:
"Effective immediately, the GLIAC, in consultation with the Council of Presidents and athletic directors, has canceled all athletically-related activity through May 31, 2020. During this unprecedented world-wide fight against the COVID-19 threat, the GLIAC supports national and NCAA efforts to protect student-athletes, coaches, fans and communities."
