Cliff Watson, Thomas Beretta, and Shane Hanna scored the first night with Joel L'Esperance and Jake Jackson burying Saturday's goals. Angus Redmond had 29 saves the first night and 12 the second. Matt Wintjes had five saves during the third period Saturday. The eight seniors were recognized on the ice after Saturday's game. The Huskies finished the regular season with an 18-13-7 overall record and a 15-7-6-3 mark in the WCHA. They will host seventh-seeded Lake Superior State this weekend in the first round of the WCHA Playoffs. The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and if necessary, Sunday. Tech swept LSSU in their only meeting of the regular season on November 11 and 12.

The Huskies shot 57 percent from the field and held the Wildcats to only 24 percent shooting. Tech is the No. 4 seed in the GLIAC Tournament and hosts fifth-seeded Ohio Dominican. The two teams met in Ohio in December with Tech winning 75-59. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the SDC Gym.
