Ray Puro
Inducted October 30, 2004

A four-year letterwinner in hockey, Ray Puro starred for the Michigan Tech Huskies on the ice from 1950-54. He was the team’s leading scorer in both the 1951-52 and 1952-53 campaigns and earned the Merv Youngs Award as the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1952-53.

Puro gained Midwest All-Star Honorable Mention status in 1952-53 and in the first year of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association the next year he received All-WCHA honorable mention recognition.

Ray, who now resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba, also earned a letter in football in 1952.
