John M. Kosiancic
Inducted October 29, 1994

Playing for the Michigan Tech hockey team from 1957-60, John Kosiancic was one of the most outstanding forwards to ever wear the Huskies' sweater.

He led the team in scoring his junior season, gaining 25 goals and 28 assists in 27 games played. For his efforts, he earned First Team All-American laurels and was honored with the Merv Youngs Award, significant of MTU's Most Valuable Player.

His senior season, Kosiancic helped the huskies to a second-place finish in the NCAA Championships and was selected to the NCAA All-Tournament Second Team. In addition, he also gained Second Team All-American honors.

Since leaving MTU, Kosiancic has gone onto an ultra-successful professional career.
