Kenneth Hamar
Inducted November 1, 1986

Hamar, who passed away in January of 1983, served Michigan Tech athletics as one of its staunchest supporters. He was a charter member of The Huskies Club and received the organization's highest award in 1974 -- an award which today is named in honor of Hamar.

He was the former chairman of the board of Horner Flooring Company, internationally known for its hardwood basketball floors, and is a past director of the Superior National Bank and the Copper Range Railroad Company.

Hamar was born in Menominee, Mich. and was raised in Chassell.
