George J. Hill
Inducted October 29, 1994

George Hill played forward for the Michigan Tech hockey team from 1962-64 and later went on to play professional hockey in Tulsa, Los Angeles, and Buffalo.

While at MTU, the Flin Flon, Manitoba, native made his mark in the record book.

His first year, he led the team in scoring, playing in 29 games and garnering 42 points on 22 goals and 20 assists. For his efforts he gained First Team All-America honors and was named Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Sophomore of the Year. In addition, Hill earned All-WCHA First team recognition.

As team captain his second and final year at MTU (1963-64), he again led the team in scoring. Playing in 27 games, Hill had 20 goals and 22 assists, good for 42 points. Following the season, he was named to the All-WCHA Second Team.
