Kash Rasmussen named AHCA All-American Scholar

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech forward Kash Rasmussen was named a Krampade All-American Scholar by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) for the 2022-23 academic year.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester and had to appear in 40 percent of the team's games. Rasmussen had a 4.0 GPA in the fall and 3.78 in the spring in his first year at Tech. He is pursuing an exercise science degree.

Rasmussen appeared in 38-of-39 games in 2022-23 and tallied 11 points with five goals and six assists. The Cochrane, Alberta native scored twice at Northern Michigan (Dec. 2) and had a goal and an assist against St. Lawrence (Oct. 28). He also scored against Minnesota State (Nov. 25), in the GLI versus Western Michigan (Dec. 27), and in exhibition play against Lakehead (Oct. 3).
