Nick Nardella signs in ECHL with Cincinnati Cyclones

CINCINNATI, Ohio – Michigan Tech junior forward Nick Nardella has signed a professional contract with the Cincinnati Cyclones in the ECHL. Nardella joins former Husky Mark Sinclair in Cincinnati. Sinclair is 17-6-3 between the pipes this season.

Nardella will make his debut Saturday night against David Jankowski and the Wheeling Nailers.

Nardella played 85 games for the Huskies over three seasons. He tallied 31 career points with four goals and 27 assists. The Rosemont, Illinois native tallied a career-high 14 points in 2022-23 and ranked fourth on the team with 13 assists. He registered three assists in a win at Alaska (Oct. 14) and assisted on a pair of goals in a victory at Lake Superior State (Dec. 17).

Nardella was a CCHA All-Academic Team member and attended the Carolina Hurricanes NHL Development Camp in 2022.

Cincinnati is affiliated with the Buffalo Sabres of the NHL and the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.  The Cyclones compete in the ECHL's Central Division and play their games at Heritage Bank Center.
