CSGO

The Huskies remain ranked second in the nation and are the new reigning NACE Starleague Midwest conference champions!

On Friday, Tech ended Michigan State's season with a surprise Overpass ban, leading to a Mirage series-deciding map.

MTU started the series with a 16-2 win on Nuke, dropped Inferno 12-16, and closed out the series 2-1 with a 16-11 score on Mirage. On Nuke, Tyler "LordOPies" Short put up 26 kills on the board and Sean "Cleanslate" Parker only allowed four deaths giving him a staggering kill/death ratio of 4.75. Brendon "DeadO" Cook closed out Mirage with 29 kills and 110 average damage per round. Catch the recording over on the Huskies Esports Twitch channel.

For the conference championship on Sunday, Tech bested Purdue 2-0. On Vertigo, Hunter "Retnuh" Holm cleaned up the Boilermakers with 33 frags. Sean "Cleanslate" Parker continued his outstanding performance on Nuke seeing 24 kills from him.

Tech ends its regular season with 10 wins and one loss, securing the conference championship and a fifth-place seed for the playoffs. They face Stony Brook in the first round Tuesday, with matches possible each following day. The bracket is available on the NACE Starleague Tournament website.

Overwatch

On Thursday, the Huskies bested Marian 3-1. On Dorado, Claire "sheep" Holmes-Serrano secured 20 kills and Tyler "Valkyrie" Harris scored 10,354 points of healing. 

MTU is now 2-5 in the NECC Champions Yellow Division. The Black and Gold play 2-6 Purdue Black on Thursday.

Rocket League

The Huskies' run in the NACE Starleague tournament came to an end Thursday. Michigan was able to close out the rematch 3-2. Game 2 saw Tyler "Tater" Tappin block four shots on goal. Isaac "stew" Stilwell scored five goals in game four. Tech ends its season with seven wins and three losses.

Tech Rocket League ended up falling short of qualifying for the finals of the Gametime Midwest Collegiate Invitational. On Tuesday, Tech defeated Ohio State 3-2, and on Thursday picked up another 3-2 win over Waterloo. The Huskies ended the season with a winning record of four wins and three losses.

Super Smash Bros: Ultimate

The Huskies qualified for the National Championship over the weekend!

On Thursday, MTU was able to defeat Oakland. Noah "Noko" Kolczynski took five stocks as Palutena and Cam "Carp" Kern took three stocks as Ice Climbers.

Michigan State took home the conference championship title on Sunday. Cameron "Psyke" Duffy took three stocks as King Dedede, but in the end, the Spartans won the day. Tech ends its regular season with nine wins and two losses.

Tech faces Grand Canyon in round one on Tuesday.

Apex Legends

Huskies Apex took back-to-back fourth-place finishes in the Braghouse Tournament Tuesday and Wednesday. Game 1 Tuesday saw Cale "Winter" McDonnell secure six kills and Griffin "TheGr33nB3an" Wick score five kills. Game 1 Wednesday Cale "Winter" McDonnell dealt 2174 damage and Griffin "TheGr33nB3an" Wick secured five kills.
