CSGO

The Huskies rose in the rankings from No. 7 to No. 2 in the nation per the NACE Coaches' poll, with wins over Ohio State and Iowa State.

MTU ran over Ohio State 2-0 Monday: 16-2 on Ancient and 16-7 on Nuke. Tyler "LordOPies" Short led the effort on Ancient averaging 101.6 damage per round. On Nuke, Brendon "DeadO" Cook locked the map down with 103.6 ADR.

Friday, the Huskies finished the regular season with another overwhelming 2-0 victory over Iowa State: 16-6 on Vertigo and 16-2 on Nuke. Hunter "Retnuh" Holm did whatever he wanted on Vertigo, scoring 32 frags and averaging 142.3 damage per round. Calvin "Chowdz" Johnson ran through the Cyclones on Nuke. When the dust settled he ended the map with 138.1 ADR and a 3.5 kill to death ratio. You can watch the carnage yourself on Michigan Tech's Twitch.tv!

Huskies CSGO finished 8-1 in the NACE Starleague tournament's regular season. Tech will play No. 4 Michigan State on Friday. The winner of that match faces ranked No. 3 Purdue on Sunday. The loser of Friday's match does not qualify for the playoffs.

League of Legends

Illinois at Urbana-Champaign showed why it was the top seed of the conference championship tournament Tuesday, closing out a 2-0 defeat of Tech. UIUC went on to win the conference championship and a qualifying spot in the playoff tournament.

This ends Tech's run in the NACE tournament.

Overwatch

On Thursday, the Huskies lost 3-1 against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. 

MTU is now 1-5 in the NECC Champions Yellow division. The Huskies play 5-2 Marian on Thursday.

Rocket League

On Monday, Tech lost 3-1 to Siena Heights and won 3-0 over George Fox in the UGC tournament.

Tech fell 3- to Michigan to end the regular season of NACE.

On Thursday, Tech lost 3-0 to Columbia in the Gametime Midwest Collegiate Invitational.

In NACE, Tech faces Michigan Thursday for a rematch in the first round of the conference Play-In. The winner of Thursday's game then faces undefeated Mizzou on Saturday.

The Huskies ended the regular season 9-6 in the UGC tournament, and in a tie with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical for third place in the division. Pending a tie-breaker match, the winner will qualify for the playoffs.

For the Gametime tournament, MTU is 1-2. It faces 1-3 Waterloo on Thursday.

Super Smash Bros: Ultimate

The Huskies upset the previously undefeated Michigan State on Thursday!

MTU ended the regular season tied 8-1 alongside Michigan State and Oakland. Tech faces Oakland in the conference Play-In match on Thursday. The winner faces Michigan State in the conference championship match on Sunday. The loser of Thursday's match does not qualify for the playoffs.
