CSGO

The Huskies fell in the rankings from No. 1 to No. 7 in the nation per the NACE Coaches' poll despite dominant victories last week.

Monday started the week off right with a dominant 2-0 victory over Central Michigan. Hunter "Retnuh" Holm led the effort on Dust 2 with 29 kills. Calvin "Chowdz" Johnson's 110.4 Average Damage per Round (ADR) on Nuke stalled the Chips out completely. CMU only scored three rounds on the second map.

Friday, the Huskies' reign of terror continued with another quick 2-0 victory - this time over Ashland University. Ashland only clawed back 10 rounds in total for the series with a 4-16 scoreline on Inferno and a 6-16 scoreline on Nuke. Hunter locked down Inferno with 132.9 ADR and Brendan "DeadO" Cook's clutch plays on Nuke netted him 22 total kills.

Huskies CSGO is now 6-1 in the NACE Starleague tournament. The squad plays Ohio State tonight and Iowa State on Friday. With (1) Purdue's victory over (6) Michigan State on Friday, (7) MTU, (6) MSU, and (1) Purdue look to end their regular seasons tied 8-1.

The ESEA team dropped both their matches this week. On Wednesday, Anthony "Ahmoar" Scheuer secured 26 frags, but the Huskies could not get the momentum rolling on their Inferno CT side - ending the match 7-16 against Ratpack. On Friday, the squad had their first appearance on Ancient. While showing promise, the map went to clowncar 16 to 13.

CSGO ESEA ends their season 4-10 in ESEA Main. It is likely the team will be relegated to the intermediate division for Season 41.

League of Legends

Tuesday in the first round of playoffs, Huskies League of Legends won 2-0 over Indiana University Bloomington. Brandon "Oblivonize" Cox secured 10 kills in the second round.

No. 20 seed Tech faces the No. 1 seed University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in round 2.

Overwatch

On Thursday, the Huskies lost 3-0 against Bethel University. Tyler "Valkyrie" Harris and Salvatore "PicklePiglet" Mazzola both closed 22 frags on Numbani.

MTU is now 1-4 in the NECC tournament. The Huskies' run in the Activision-Blizzard Collegiate Tournament has come to an end.

Rocket League

Rocket League A had four matches on Monday across three different tournaments.

In NACE Starleague, Tech won 3-1 over Minnesota State. Tyler "Tater" Tappin had three saves in round 1. Max "Nineja" Reisterer had three saves in the second round.

For the UGC tournament, the Huskies defeated New Haven (3-1) and fell to Northwood (0-3). Against New Haven, Tater scored a total of eight goals across the series.

Tech started its run in the Gametime Tournament on track with a 3-2 victory over Illinois Wesleyan. Isaac "stew" Stilwell scored 4 of his 6 series total round 3.

In NACE, Tech (7-1) faces Michigan (6-2) tonight at 9:30 p.m.

The Huskies are 7-3 in the UGC tournament. This week they face Sienna Heights and George Fox.

For the Gametime Tournament, MTU is 1-0.

Super Smash Bros: Ultimate

Huskies win! On Thursday Christian "Triple_C" Clemmons took eight of Northwood's 12 stocks, setting his team up to close it out.

MTU is 7-1 and faces the undefeated Michigan State in its week. MSU, Tech, and Oakland are all currently tied with seven wins each. Oakland plays State this week as well on account of rescheduling. The outcomes of these two matches determine the first, second, and third positions for the conference!
