HOCKEY
The Huskies had the weekend off and now head to Bowling Green for the final road trip of the regular season this weekend. The teams split their first meeting of the season on December 1-2 in Houghton with the Huskies earning 4-of-6 CCHA points. Tech is 12-13-6 overall and 9-9-2 in the CCHA. The puck drops at 7:37 p.m. Friday and 7:07 p.m. Saturday at the Slater Family Ice Arena.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech fell 70-45 to Northern Michigan Saturday at the SDC Gym. Katelyn Meister (14) and Maja Kozlowska (10) scored in double figures for the Huskies. Tech is 12-10 overall and 8-6 in the GLIAC and plays at Wayne State Thursday and Saginaw Valley State Saturday in the final road trip of the regular season.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies won their third straight game with an 80-69 victory over archrival Northern Michigan on Saturday at the SDC Gym. Tech outscored NMU 48-32 in the second half and got 34 points from Marcus Tomashek and 22 from Dan Gherezgher. The Huskies are 9-14 overall and 6-8 in the GLIAC and hit the road for the final time of the regular season at Wayne State on Thursday and Saginaw Valley State on Saturday.

NORDIC SKIING
Michigan Tech hosts the NCAA Central Regional Championship at the Tech Trails on Saturday and Sunday. The schedule consists of a skate interval start 7.5km on Saturday with the men starting at 10 a.m. and the women at noon. Sunday is a classic mass start 20km with the women hitting the start line at 10 a.m. followed by the men at noon.

TENNIS
The women's tennis team picked up the lone team victory on the court for the Huskies over the weekend. Tech defeated McKendree 4-3 on Friday. The Black and Gold won the doubles point and three matches in singles. Tech is off this weekend before heading south on Spring Break.
