Fall Sport Student-Athletes Honored by GLIAC for Academics

A total of 95 Michigan Tech student-athletes earned recognition from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for academics as the league announced its Fall Academic Excellence Awards and All-Academic Teams.
Cross Country Teams Compete at Regional; Pengelly Qualifies for Nats

The Michigan Tech men's cross country team finished eighth of 34 teams in the region. The women took 18th of 35 Division II teams in the Midwest.
Cross Country Teams at Regional Saturday; Men Enter at No. 8

The Michigan Tech men’s cross country team will carry a regional ranking of No. 8 into the NCAA Midwest Region Championships this weekend. The 10-kilometer men’s race and six-kilometer women’s race are slated to be run Saturday (Nov. 22) at Angel Mounds Historic Site in Evansville, Ind.
Irwin and Pengelly Earn All-GLIAC Honors at Tiffin

Muck Run Set for Nov. 1 at Tech Trails

Michigan Tech is holding its annual Muck Run on Saturday, November 1 at 10 a.m. at the Tech Trails. The 5-kilometer trail race through mud, muck, mire, and maybe even snow, benefits both the men's and women's cross country teams.
Pengelly Earns Second GLIAC Athlete of the Week Award

Sean Pengelly (Hartland, Mich.) has been named the GLIAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after earning his first collegiate win last weekend.
Pengelly 1st, Irwin 3rd at Lucian Rosa Invite

Sean Pengelly earned his first collegiate win and Deedra Irwin ran to a third-place finish at the Lucian Rosa Invitational today. The men’s team took sixth place of 17 teams at the event while the women were 12th of 20 squads at UW-Parkside’s Dannehl National Cross Country Course.
Cross Country Teams Finish Top 10 at Eau Claire

The Michigan Tech cross country teams raced at the BluGold Invitational hosted by UW-Eau Claire today. The men’s team placed sixth of 25 teams while the women were ninth of 25 entrants. The fields for both races had more than 385 runners each.
