Michigan Tech women’s tennis player Kwang Suthijindawong has earned Capital One Academic All-District First Team honors from CoSIDA it was released today.

The Michigan Tech women’s tennis team had five matches at Spring Tennis Fest in Hilton Head. The Huskies won one of those and wrapped up their 2014-15 campaign with a 5-12 record.
Fall Sport Student-Athletes Honored by GLIAC for Academics

Suthijindawong Named GLIAC Player of the Year

Michigan Tech’s Kwang Suthijindawong (Bangkok, Thailand) has been selected as the GLIAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Year by league coaches it was announced today. The junior is the first player in school history to earn the honor.
Women's Tennis Finishes Off Fall with 9-0 Win

The Michigan Tech women’s tennis team wrapped up its 2014 fall schedule with a 9-0 sweep of Findlay today at Midland Community Tennis Center. The Huskies finished the fall with a 4-8 record (overall and GLIAC) and in a tie for eighth place in the GLIAC standings.

Michigan Tech’s Kwang Suthijindawong and Sandra Cvetanovic suffered their first two losses of the season as a doubles pair today at the USTA/ITA Small College National Championships. The Huskies were the first doubles team in school history to play at the nationals.
Women's Tennis Picks Up Second Win at Hillsdale

The Michigan Tech women’s tennis team picked up its second win of the season with a 7-2 score at Hillsdale today. The Huskies won five of the six singles flights and two of the three doubles matches to improve to 2-7 on the year.

Wayne State defeated Michigan Tech 7-2 in GLIAC women’s tennis today. Repeating the same pattern as most of the season so far, the Huskies won at the top flight in singles and doubles behind the strength of Kwang Suthijindawong and Sandra Cvetanovic.

Kwang Suthijindawong and Sandra Cvetanovic claimed the ITA Midwest Region Doubles Championship today with an 8-6 victory over Wayne State’s Yahsha Moore and Anne Li Briand in the final. Suthijindawong also made the final in singles, but finished as the ITA Midwest Region Runner-Up.

Huskies Fall to Cardinals at Gates

Michigan Tech suffered a 6-3 setback to Saginaw Valley State at Gates Tennis Center today in GLIAC women’s tennis. Despite the team falling to 1-5 on the season, top player Kwang Suthijindawong remained undefeated and moved to 30-0 in her GLIAC singles career.
