Track and Field honored for team academics by USTFCCCA
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Michigan Tech men's and women's track & field teams were both named All-Academic Teams for the 2020 NCAA Division II Track & Field season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Both teams led the GLIAC in team grade-point average.
The women's team ranked 15th nationally with a 3.6 GPA and were one of 149 squads honored. The men's team held a 3.3 GPA and ranked 28th out of the 114 teams recognized.
The team must average a 3.0 GPA to be recognized as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
