Kautzer Named a Google Cloud Academic All-American

Michigan Tech Nordic ski student-athlete Amanda Kautzer has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America Division II At-Large Team, as selected by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Michigan Tech Nordic ski student-athlete Amanda Kautzer has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District District 4 Women’s At-Large Team. The Google Cloud Academic All-District Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

The Michigan Tech Nordic Ski team announced its 2018-19 team award winners at their end-of-the-year banquet. Amanda Kautzer, Sarah Goble, Anna Kubek, Patrick Acton, Kristoffer Vollset, Mark Ousdigian, and Tres Green all received team awards at the banquet.
15 Skiers Named to USCSCA All-Academic Team

15 Michigan Tech skiers were selected by the United States Collegiate Ski Association (USCSCA) as members of the 2018-19 All-Academic Intercollegiate Ski Team. The 15 Huskies selected to the All-Academic team represents the most selections out of all NCAA Nordic Ski teams across the three divisions of the NCAA.
Goble, DeLong Named All-Americans at U.S. Cross Country Junior Nationals

Reid Goble and Mitch DeLong finished as All-Americans as members from the Michigan Tech Nordic Ski team competed at the 2019 U.S. Cross Country Junior Nationals at Kincaid Park in Anchorage, Alaska. Both finished in the top 10 of the U20 10k Skate and 15k Classic races, earning All-American status.
Huskies Conclude Season at NCAA Skiing Championships

The four men and women of the Michigan Tech Nordic ski team concluded their final competition of the season at the 2019 NCAA National Skiing Championships in Stowe, Vt. Amanda Kautzer, Sarah Goble, Kristoffer Vollset, and Patrick Acton all put in fine performances in their final races of the season.

The Michigan Tech Nordic Ski team is back at the NCAA Skiing Championships, this time competing in Stowe, Vt. Hosted by the University of Vermont, the Huskies will compete in the Freestyle on Wednesday (Mar. 6) and in the Classic on Friday (Mar. 8).
