Blue Line Club hosting luncheon Friday

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech Blue Line Club is hosting its final luncheon of the season on Friday (Feb. 25) at noon in the 'old' Blue Line Room outside of University Images. The event is open to the public and costs $10 per person. Lunch will be served at 11:45 p.m.

Tickets need to be purchased by noon on Wednesday to guarantee lunch and can be purchased online, by calling the Central Ticket Office at 906-487-2073, or by visiting in-person Monday-Wednesday 8 a.m.-noon. Payment will not be accepted after Wednesday at noon. Chicken salad on a ciabatta roll, chips, cookies, coffee, lemonade, and water will be served.

Tech head coach Joe Shawhan and Minnesota State coach Mike Hastings will be on hand to talk about the final series of the regular season.

The No. 14 Huskies and No. 1 Mavericks play at 7:07 p.m. Friday and 6:07 p.m. Saturday at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena in their second meeting of the regular season. Saturday will be Senior Day as Trenton Bliss, Tyrell Buckley, Alec Broetzman, Eric Gotz, Brian Halonen, Michael Karow, Justin Misiak, Tommy Parrottino, Mark Sinclair, and Colin Swoyer will be honored after the game.
