Mitchell Ryan enters his third season as a Graduate Assisant Coach for the Huskies in 2020. Ryan will be working primarily with the wide receiver's under Offensive Coordinator Dan Mettlach. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration degree.

Ryan played defensive back at Tech for five seasons (2013-17) and helped lead the Huskies to the 2014 NCAA Division II Playoffs. Ryan was a Team Captain in 2017 and was the recipient of the 2017 Ted Kearly Award, which goes to a player who exhibits passion, pride, and integrity on and off the field. Ryan was also an GLIAC All-Academic honoree in both the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Ryan graduated from Tech where he earned degrees in both Sports and Fitness Management as well as Marketing.

Ryan is from Linden, Michigan and graduated from Linden High School in 2013. Ryan competed in both football and baseball during his high school career.
