Volleyball & Basketball Season Tickets and Football VIP Tickets on Sale Now!
HOUGHTON, Mich. — Basketball and volleyball season tickets for the Michigan Tech 2016-17 season are on sale now at the Central Ticket Office in the SDC (906-487-2073). In addition, Football VIP tickets will also go on sale.
Basketball season ticket packages are $150 and include a reserved seat at all Huskies basketball home games in 2016-17 encompassing 13 regular season dates and 26 total games. At roughly $11.50 per date you receive a 17 percent discount off individual game tickets at $14 apiece.
The basketball teams combined for a 30-23 record last year including a 19-7 mark at the SDC Gym. The women's team captured their 14th GLIAC regular season title while posting a 19-8 record (12-1 at home). The men wrapped up 2015-16 with an 11-15 mark (7-6 at home). Volleyball season tickets are $90 and include a reserved seat to all nine Huskies volleyball home matches in 2016. At $10 per match you receive a 17 percent discount off individual match tickets which are $12 apiece.
The volleyball program has taken consistent strides over the last four seasons under Coach Matt Jennings, with a 19-12 overall record (its highest win total since 2008) and 10-8 in conference play. 2015 was Coach Jennings first winning season and the program opened up with the best start in school history. Each VIP 4 Pack comes with four tickets to every Huskies' home game and access to the VIP Tailgate Party prior to each game with free food and beverage provided by the Library Restaurant and Brew Pub. Free preferred parking in lot 24, free game program (first 300) and game program recognition are also included.
VIP 4 Packs cost $380, and up to $200 may be tax deductible. The VIP ticket program is in its 13th year. Michigan Tech's home opener on Sherman Field is set for Saturday, Sept. 3 at 1 p.m. vs Walsh, Ferris State is the homecoming opponent (1 p.m. on Sept. 10) and the Hall of Fame Game is Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. vs Saginaw Valley State. Ashland (1 p.m. on Oct. 29) and Findlay (1 p.m. on Nov. 12) are the other home dates. Here is a link to the entire 2016 Football Schedule.
