Fundraising Challenge

We are excited to announce the VIP Pavilion has been renamed the Champions Pavilion by Mike Horan ‘74 in honor of Michigan Tech’s conference title championship teams! Mike has provided a six-figure gift through his company, Ajax Paving Industries, and is challenging each of the championship teams to collectively raise $25,000 or more in support of the $1.4 million press box project with an additional goal to have participation at a variety of giving levels from each team. Each team meeting the challenge will be recognized with photos and team rosters inside the Champions Pavilion.

Team Progress to Date

Our goal is to raise $225,000 or more by August 31, 2020. Currently, the 1969 Championship Team is leading the way after their 50th class reunion.

We hope this project will give you the chance to reconnect with fellow teammates – together you accomplished something only nine teams ever have in the 98-year history of Michigan Tech Football!
