HOCKEY
Michigan Tech swept St. Lawrence in its only home non-conference series of the season. The Huskies picked up two shutouts with a 6-0 win Friday and 3-0 victory Saturday. Blake Pietila extended his Michigan Tech record with his 12th and 13th career shutouts, stopping 18 shots each night. Nine Huskies scored the nine goals. Tech heads to Bowling Green for the first CCHA road series of the season. The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Slater Family Ice Arena.

SOCCER
The Huskies wrapped up the regular season with a 1-0 loss to Northern Michigan Friday at Kearly Stadium. Tech is the No. 5 seed in the GLIAC Tournament and travels to Ferris State Tuesday to begin postseason play. First kick is set for 1 p.m.

VOLLEYBALL
The Huskies split their weekend downstate to wrap up the road schedule. The Huskies fell 3-0 at Wayne State Friday and defeated Saginaw Valley State 3-2 Saturday. Meg Raabe (3.0 k/s) led the offense while Lina Espejo-Ramirez (10.82 a/s) set the attack, and Carissa Beyer (7.0 d/s) led the defense. Tech is 17-9 overall and 9-7 in the GLIAC and wraps up the regular season against Parkside Friday at 6 p.m. and Purdue Northwest Saturday at 3 p.m.

FOOTBALL
Michigan Tech fell 42-7 to No. 1 Grand Valley State Saturday at Kearly Stadium. Ethan Champney scored the lone touchdown for the Huskies. Marc Sippel led the defense with 13 tackles. Tech wraps up non-conference play at Hillsdale Saturday at 1 p.m.

CROSS COUNTRY
The cross country teams travel back to New Boston, Michigan Friday for the GLIAC Championships. The women's 6K is at 11 a.m. and the men's 8K is at 11:45 a.m.

BASKETBALL
The women's basketball team plays an exhibition game at UW-Green Bay Wednesday at 8 p.m. and the men face the Phoenix in an exhibition Thursday at 8 p.m.
