HOCKEY
The No. 15-ranked Huskies kept their 2022 unbeaten streak alive with two wins and a tie last week. Tech defeated Northern Michigan 5-1 Tuesday, tied St. Thomas Friday and earned a shootout win, and shutout the Tommies 2-0 Saturday. Tommy Parrottino had four goals and six points in the week while Trenton Bliss had seven points. Blake Pietila had a .920 save percentage and tied the program record for shutouts in a season with his sixth Saturday. Tech is 16-8-2 overall and 13-5-1 in the CCHA and wrap up a CCHA series at Northern Michigan on Tuesday. The puck drops at 6:37 p.m. from the Berry Events Center. Tech then welcomes Bowling Green this weekend for the annual Winter Carnival series. The Blue Line Club is hosting its second luncheon of the season on Friday at noon. Tickets need to be purchased by noon on Wednesday to guarantee lunch and can be purchased online.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies extended their winning streak to five games after a 65-44 win at Purdue Northwest Thursday and a 90-75 victory at Parkside Saturday. Owen White (19), Adam Hobson (15), Trent Bell (15), and Eric Carl (10) averaged double figures on the weekend. Tech is 15-5 overall and 11-3 in the GLIAC and plays at Davenport Thursday and Grand Valley State Saturday.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech fell 93-89 in overtime Thursday at Purdue Northwest and 81-67 at Parkside Saturday. Ellie Mackay (15), Isabella Lenz (14.5), Sara Dax (14), and Katelyn Meister (12.5) all averaged double figures on the weekend. The Huskies are 11-8 overall and 6-5 in the GLIAC and travel to Davenport Thursday and Grand Valley State Saturday.

NORDIC SKIING
The Nordic ski teams travel across the UP to the CCSA Championships at Al Quaal in Ishpeming this weekend. A skate 15/20K is scheduled for Saturday followed by a classic 5/10K on Sunday.
