FOOTBALL
After a 647-day hiatus, the 2021 football season kicks off at Kearly Stadium on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Hillsdale. The Huskies were picked fifth in the GLIAC Preseason Coaches' Poll and begin the season with four straight home games. Tech will play the Chargers for the third straight season and has been victorious in the last two meetings. The Black and Gold return All-American defensive lineman Nate LaJoie and All-GLIAC honorees Hayden Huttula (offensive lineman), Jared Smith (running back), and Will Ark (quarterback). Season Preview

VOLLEYBALL
Tech volleyball hosts the Keweenaw Classic in the SDC on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The tournament will feature four teams from the GLIAC and four from the NSIC. Tech opens against No. 7 Minnesota Duluth on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The Huskies host Minnesota State at noon and No. 16 St. Cloud State at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The weekend wraps up against No. 2 Concordia-St. Paul at 5 p.m. Saturday. The Black and Gold are coming off a spring season where they went 11-4 and won a share of the GLIAC North Division Title for the second time in program history. SOCCER
Tech soccer begins its 12th season of play by hosting Minnesota Duluth on Thursday at 6 p.m. and St. Cloud State Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kearly Stadium. The Huskies were picked fourth in the Preseason GLIAC Coaches' Poll and return four All-GLIAC players from the spring in Brooke Schauer, Neve Badalow, Grace Shaw, and Jesse Jacobusse.  Season Preview
