Michigan Tech is proud to offer fans the opportunity to follow the Huskies all season by watching games live with in-game statistics beginning Saturday, January 9 with men’s basketball against Purdue Northwest. All 18 Michigan Tech men’s and women’s basketball regular season home games will be streamed in high definition with multiple camera angles through the team’s Presto Sports Stretch Internet Portal.

Huskies emphasize leadership among student-athletes

As part of a continuing effort to empower student-athletes and develop strong leadership throughout the Michigan Tech community, the athletic department set up a leadership committee made up participants from all 15 varsity sports this fall semester. The committee meets weekly via zoom and is hosted by Tech football alumni Jaylyn Williams-Boone. Boone is a motivational speaker, whose company tailors' programs for personal development to various audiences.

Snelson named Director of Athletic Communication, Other department changes

Michigan Tech Athletics has hired Charlie Snelson as the Director of Athletic Communication. Snelson will serve as the primary media contact for football, basketball, soccer, track and field, and tennis. He will also assist in the promotion of Michigan Tech Recreation, the Outdoor Adventure Program, and intramurals. He began his duties on Monday (Sept. 21).
